Who is it for?
At Primary Workshops for Schools, our Junk Percussion workshops align perfectly with subjects such as Science, the Art, Music, and Design Technology. They’re a hit during Arts Week, World Music Day, and support your school’s eco-friendly initiatives as well as enhancing curriculum topics.
Throughout the day, up to 8 classes of 30 children will have a blast creating music with everyday objects, learning how to transform them into a lively “junk” orchestra.
How it works
Structure
A full day of immersive sessions. We can deliver up to 8 sessions per day, accommodating 30 children per session. That’s up to 240 children in a single day!
Flexible schedule
We deliver 6 sessions, stretching them to 8 if required, in a single day to meet your school’s needs.
Performance
The day can end with an engaging performance, allowing the children to deliver their rhythmical compositions.
